I know fatigue is always an issue, but I’d have a hard time saying “SKC only lost because they were tired”. It’s a common occurrence in MLS to play on 3 days rest. I even just read a quote from Nielsen saying “We should be able to handle this”. I won’t rain down praise on LA, but I can’t sympathize much for KC.

i went to this game, ref sucked for both sides throughout the whole game. all i can say is thank you galaxy for the win, ring, and free buffalo wings 🙂

team? You bet. But if they played SKC when both teams are fully rested and good to go, it would be a much different outcome. I just wish LA supporters would acknowledge that a big contributing factor to the win was that fact that SKC was extremely fatigued.

I’m an SKC fan all he way, and I don’t care that LA won this game. I just hate all the LA supporters that think this was some amazing win. Think about it: you guys scored a total of 2 goals (really should have only been won due to a very clear handball) against a team that was beat from playing a game only 3 days before. You think LA got all this breakaways because they’re some amazing team? No. They got all the breakaways and chances because SKC was simply too beat to keep up. Is LA a quality

Really now? check out LA’s May 11 thru May 19 Schedule. VAN – PHI – NY. three teams in 8 days. Check their MLS Cup 2012 playoff schedule. LA has played and travelled so much more at this point in the season than any other team save SEA. and they will have congested schedules because of it. and yet, somehow, MLS favors them?

Zusi has been traveling all over the country the past three days as well as playing a game. MLS wanted LA to win this game.

Zusi had been traveling from KC to NJ to LA and playing a game in between for the three days prior to this game. MLS really likes LA to give them travel weary competition.

KC was at a distinct disadvantage. MLS schedulers really favor LA even in scheduling. They travel from KC to New Jersey, play a game then fly to LA in less than three days to play another game. MLS is chickenshit.
